This was the first time Marielle and I ventured to Mexico. We timed it with Marielle’s birthday in April and stayed at the Barcelo resort on the Mayan Riviera. There were many activities we could have done but we chose instead to lounge around the pool, lounge on the beach, lounge in the warm water and for some excitement we went out to the hotel restaurants. Notice the photo of Marielle at the French restaurant for her birthday. We also watched a couple of shows however they were not up to the calibre of the ones in Cuba. Next time we may take our tennis racquets!
C’était la première fois que Marielle et moi nous rendions au Mexique. Nous avons fait coïncider notre voyage avec l’anniversaire de Marielle en avril et avons logé au complexe Barcelo, sur la Riviera Maya. Nous aurions pu faire de multiples activités, mais nous avons préféré nous la couler douce au bord de la piscine, nous laisser bercer par les vagues et profiter de très bons restaurants de l’hôtel. Ci-joint une photo de Marielle le soir de son anniversaire au restaurant français. Nous avons également assisté à quelques spectacles, mais d’un calibre inférieur à ceux présentés à Cuba. La prochaine fois, nous allons mettre les raquettes de tennis dans les bagages!
